Resilient Buffalo Economy
A systems-driven, buffalo-centric model
What is Buffalo Economy
The Buffalo Economy is a systems-based approach to milk production that prioritizes resilience, profitability, and sustainability. It is rooted in integrated farming and circular resource flows.
Buffaloes at the Core
Buffaloes play a central role in India’s milk sector.Â
Integrated Farming, Not Isolated Dairy
Integrates trees, crops, and livestock into a circular farming system.
Reducing the Carbon Footprint
lowers emissions through tree fodder systems, feed strategies, and reduced soil disturbance.
We are building a large family of small, resilient dairy farms adopting a systems-based model of buffalo
25+ Integrated Partner Farms
We currently work with 25+ partner farms who follow our Tree–Crop–Livestock integrated approach.
Each farm operates independently but is supported through shared knowledge, breeding access, and circular farm systems.Milk from partner farms is procured and processed at our creamery to produce pure dairy products.
COE Dairy Farm
The COE Farm acts as a research, breeding, and demonstration hub for partner farms.
Our COE Dairy Farm is our own integrated model farm where we:
Breed Jaffarabadi buffaloes
Maintain cows and structured herd systems
Contribute milk to our creamery
Demonstrate integrated farming practices
Partner Farm Service Centre
The Partner Farm Service Centre is a one-stop support system that enables farms to build a circular buffalo/cow economy.
A 24×7 support system enabling partner farms to build a circular buffalo and cow economy with structured inputs and breeding support.
Designed to reduce input risk, improve herd quality, and increase long-term farm incomes.
School Tours
Students visit our farms to understand integrated farming systems and milk production in practice.
Consumers are becoming increasingly disconnected from their food. We open our farms to students so they can understand how milk is produced through integrated farming systems. Every year, hundreds of students from different schools visit our farm to experience real agricultural ecosystems.
